I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business-The Best Happiness Money Can Buy
So follow that tune quickly Or you’ll lose the melody you never heard When you were young you didn’t care. It’s the one that stole your fathers pride, That mighty mighty dollar sign. These are the things that matter now, So sing along and be prepared.
On Thursday I had classes all day and then at night I went into the city with my friend brittany to see Senses Fail/Bayside/Title Fight/Balance and Composure. I was mainly there for TF, but all the bands were really solid live. We got hit on by a lot of drunks/creepos though, haha. Then Friday I went into the city once again and met up with my friend Sarah. It was a really nice day so we walked around a bit, ate lunch in Rockefeller Center, and went to 2 concerts. First we went to the Juicy Couture store on 5th where Teen Vogue was holding some event and The Downtown Fiction was having a free show. The editor of Teen Vogue was there which was pretty neat and I must say TDF sound 10x better live than on cd. After that we headed over to the Wonka store, which was cute, and then off to Irving Plaza. Got there late and missed some whatever band that opened, def. felt old being there as the crowd seemed to mostly be like 16 year olds. City Comma State went on and were horrible (I think one Hey Monday is more than enough), A Rocket To the Moon was okay but they didn’t play “Annabelle” which is the one song I really like by them. Then All Time Low went on and they were fantastic as always, but we had to leave after 7 songs because of the fucking LIRR. They were doing some sort of work on the Jamaica station and the last train was at 11 14 and the next one wasn’t till 7 am, which wasn’t gonna fly. Besides that minor bump, it was a pretty awesome day. Worked Saturday and Sunday. Sunday night had a small party with people from work that was fun and much needed. Then yesterday I went to the mall with my friend Michelle and we got our Halloween costumes, which I’m pretty stoked on. I’m so glad I got to have a few eventful days like this and just take my mind off school and any other stresses.
Bought my tickets for the last Crime In Stereo show.
I’m excited and sad for it, to say the least. It’s really bittersweet though that it’s going to be my first and last time seeing them. (which is ridiculous since I live on LI, but stuff always came up). It’s better than never seeing them though.
